Yes it is of good worth to take up this discipline in SRM University!
as i have already mentioned in one of my answers… ill just highlight those points here as well…
“ 1. The Degree is valid! yes most of the private colleges have this issue SRM is UGC granted, hence your degree is valid.
2.Chennai is a good metropolitan city, SRM Kattankulathur is near potheri station its like 2 mins from the university across the road better connection to the city with frequent trains and buses, city is just 40–50 mins away( TAMBARAM, which is kinda like another bus hub for all the places in chennai)
3.You are doing CSE, it doesnt matter where you do it from, it is a good degree and presents you various opportunities and SRM is blessed in abundance with it.
4.You can have a good amount of hobbies if you’re at SRM and moreover the Chennai city has a lot to offer than what you think it does.
5.You have better opportunities for culturals and fests from chennai than vellore.
6.The research facilities at SRM, and they have a research day every year you can present your research there.
7.Resources, i think the above points are evidence for this factor.
8.They have a very good program which is cheaper than VIT its called SEMESTER ABROAD PROGRAM( SAP), as the name suggests you can go abroad to pursue 1 semester there, my friend has been to University Of Wisconsin for a semester you also have places like MIT and CMU
9.Placements! yes i am an evidence for this, all you need is a good amount of interest and enthusiasm to learn and be sportive you can get a good job after college, i myself have got 3 offers, and i am gonna work at Ernst & Young at banglore from next July onwards
10. This Point is my favourite, you can score easily here! its like getting a 9+ CGPA is easy here… and fun in the learning process!
