In what order of subjects should I study for the NEET PG?

  • 0

Actually there is no hard and fast rule to say that you should go about in this specific order. Will just share my views here, you can take it if you feel it will suit you.

Start with 2nd year subjects especially with Pathology f/b go to micro and pharma these subjects will form the major chunk of the paper will give you around 400 marks. Allot around 3–4 days to each subject for your first reading.

Then move to final year subjects among these we have large ones (Medicine, surgery, OBG, Community med) and short ones(Psychiatry, radio, ortho, anesthesia, forensic, skin, eye and ent). You can go about like one large sub f/b short sub and so on and complete there. Allot 4–5 days for each large sub and 1–2 days for each short subject.

Once you are done with these you will have to go for the first year subjects these three subjects yield only 50 marks in total and huge to complete so better to allot 3 days for each.

Once you are done with this you might have used up around 50–55 days for your first reading. Use the remaining days wisely to review all the subjects in your comfortable order.

All the best!
