Neelabh, NCR campus is not bad as it is coming under SRM brand.
But being not a main campus you want find all perks that usually main campus student get.
Below mention some points which help you understand the difference in both campus in terms of various respect whether it is education, co-curricular activities, departmental projects, internship, placements and other bunch of stuff:-
- Education:- It is similar to main campus whether it is courses, exam dates and other thing. Being in NCR campus you get one perk over main campus student which is North Indian lecturer as most of folks find South Indian lecturer strict.
- Co-curricular activities:- This is point where NCR campus lack in front of main campus because two main event of SRM AARUSH & MILAN has high number of footfall in Southern India, apart they have several other where on other hand NCR campus has only One ( in terms of big event ) which is not quite famous.
- Departmental projects:- CSE branch of main Campus is leading in number of projects they have where i don’t have any idea about NCR campus. ( Departmental projects are those project which are funded by University and leaded by Lecturer or team of students where they make product for university).
- Internship:- In main campus various companies visit for internship and even has tie-up with various companies where they recommended some student to these companies and even here CSE lead others in terms of Industry – Department tie-up.
- Placement:- Placement is where student of NCR campus has 80% same chances has other campus student.

- For mass recruiter companies like Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, TCS you have to come down to main campus and everyone has same eligibility criteria irrespective of their campus.
- For some high package companies they will only call toppers or one to whom they think will be able to get placed sometime they don’t even call even you are qualifying.
- For normal package non mass requiter companies they want call you.
- Though NCR campus has a Placement cell which call Companies to NCR campus for NCR student only but number of such companies is quite small.
