There isn’t a GOOD or GREAT college for engineering. Always one college students will complain about their college while comparing with other colleges. But when someone tell bad about their college they will try every possible way to prove that their college is the best.
Now coming to your COMED-K ranking, yes you will get a seat in tier 2 colleges for CSE branch. Tier 2 colleges are those colleges which is well known to the students and the companies apart from the top colleges. But always try to select an autonomous college than a college which is under VTU. This has its own merits and demerits.
By the way, if you meant that a GOOD college is something which teaches very well, has good placement opportunities, can learn more things and latest technologies and etc. Please stop dreaming about such things because you are completely wrong. Never ever have such expectations from any of the colleges across the state.
BE is just another certification course which is like a hallticket for a company to get in and start earning. What you learn in 4 years and what you do for your living is totally different. The examinations is all about mugging up the important questions and trying to score (with 35 being the first target).
Also keep an eye on the daily seat remaining in the Comedk counselling so that you can guess which college you can select.
PS – Never go with management seat unless you can get a seat in top 5 college of the state. Its completely waste of money!
