Des Program in Transportation Design at SoDS is to cater to the design needs of the entire transportation industry which ranges from water transport to air transport and include, mining & material movement vehicles, special purpose vehicles such as those used in defense etc. Since majority of the candidates are expected to be from the Engineering background, apart from creative concepts, they will focus on the engineering, manufacturing, materials, and technology integration issues. The students of Masters of Design go on to work in the transportation design industry at lead roles which not only includes designing new vehicles but also work closely with the management and marketing to create new avenues and various modes as well. It provides you a complete knowledge and understanding of the field and trains you as per the industry needs. So, it’s a complete package itself.
