Considering that this question is for the ones who want to get in SRM University, I, who ‘wanted’ to get admission in SRM University, can answer from a similar POV:
I have qualified SRMJEEE 2021, and had applied for Computer Science and Engineering after receiving my counselling letter.
I had attained a decent rank and was hopeful of getting CSE, after reading the reviews in Quora, and of course the information shown on the Website.
Today, I was scrolling through YouTube which guided me to a channel, in which the person speaking is a Mechatronics Engineer from SRM University, KTR. He gave an inside view of the campus, which no doubt, is good.
However, in another of his video, where he talked about the placements, he revealed an astonishing fact, which I didn’t found in the answers on Quora.
ALL THE PLACEMENTS ARE DONE THROUGH THE UNIVERSITY, AND THE COMPANY IN WHICH YOU WILL GET A PLACEMENT, WILL CONDUCT A TEST AFTER 6 MONTHS, AFTER WHICH, IF YOU ARE SELECTED, YOU CAN CONTINUE IN THE COMPANY. AND ONLY A HANDFUL OF THE STUDENTS WHO GET THE PLACEMENTS, PASS THE EXAM.
Honestly, after knowing such inofrmation, I definitely decided not to get admission in SRM University, and I felt I should make people, who want to get admission, not to waste their money if at the end of 4 years, you don’t get a job.
