Well I never prepared for COMEDK separately until one week before exam. My aim was to crack JEE MAINS, but I ended up in BMS College of Engineering which is the second best college under COMEDK after RV College of Engineering.
Well scoring good marks in COMEDK is not that difficult. The following tips will definitely help you fetch good marks:
- Keep your basics strong. If there are topics that you are weak in then at least by-heart the formulae, there might be a direct formula based question from that topic (there are generally 8–10 questions from each subject which are direct formula based).
- Solve the previous year papers. I encountered 3 questions which were the exact same as the last years’.
- While attempting a question, there are only two situations i.e. either you know the answer or you don’t know it. If you come under the latter situation for any question then make a random guess at that very moment don’t leave it for last moment, I personally was not able to make a guess for 8 questions which I thought I would answer later.
- Finally aim to score around 140–150 marks. This would fetch you a seat in RVCE which is better than many new NITs.
