Easily? Well, the people trying to do the least amount of work are almost always the least successful. However, you can overcome almost any situation and generate job leads if you are willing to do some networking. By networking, I mean reach out to alumni from your university and ask for advice. Dear So and So, as a fellow alum from XYZ university successful in engineering, I’d love to get your advice as I start my engineering career. Would you be willing to speak with me by phone for 20 minutes? If you do it enough times, it will work better than any other job search technique out there…and I’ve tested this all over the world.
