CLAT 2023 LIVE Updates: The Consortium of National Law Universities (Consortium of NLUs) SUnday conducted the Common Law Admission Test from 2 pm to 4 pm. The test was conducted at 127 test centres in 23 states and 2 union territories across the country, and 93.6 per cent students appeared in UG test and 91.7 per cent for the PG exam.
Now as the exam concluded, the Consortium of NLUs has released the provisional answer key at the official CNLU website — consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates will be able to raise objections against the given answer key from today till 9 am of December 20. The final answer key will be released on December 24 and the results will be announced during the last week of December.
CLAT is the national level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programmes offered by 22 National Law Universities in India. Recently, the Supreme Court directed the Consortium of NLUs to ensure that no differently-abled candidate is denied access to CLAT and all necessary facilities are in place.

The QA section was on the trickier side as 2/3 sets were difficult, experts and students ahve said. This section had questions from topics such as percentage, ratio and simple interest, and averages. The data interpretation questions were lengthy and confusing.
“It was important that candidates scanned the section thoroughly before starting, as leaving the time consuming questions was important. At least 8-9 questions could have been attempted. Candidates and experts have assessed that in the VA section, most of the questions were inference based with about eight questions on vocabulary. The types of passages ranged from narrative and descriptive to literary and history based. The paper required one to have a good reading speed and excellent comprehension ability. This year’s law entrance exam has been evaluated as moderate on the difficulty level, but has been assessed to be lengthy. However, unlike the previous year, LR and VA sections were not as overlapping. On the contrary, CA & GK section along with the QA were deemed to be more difficult than the previous years.

Step 1: Visit the official CNLU website — consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
Step 2: Login to your CLAT account and click on ‘Submit Objections’.
Step 3: Click on the ‘Submit Objection’ button.
Step 4: Select the ‘Type of Objection’, i.e., ‘About the Answer Key’ or ‘About the Question’, as appropriate.
Step 5: Enter your objection details and click on ‘Submit Objection’.

andidates have to pay Rs 1000 for each objection. If the objection is found to be valid and sustained, the said fee will be refunded/ remitted to the same account from which it was paid. Step 3: Click on the link that reads ‘Objections to Question Paper and Provisional Answer Key’.
Step 4: The provisional answer key will open in a PDF in a new tab.
