It depends on how what you want in CSE,
In IIT Hyderabad, we have a case of “fractal courses” , where student have liberty to choose from variety of subjects which can core subjects of department or can be also from other departments, so if by chance you get some interest in electrical branch, then here you can have subjects of electrical branch too,
This “fractal courses” is student beneficial and is continuously evolving thing, based on the feedback given by students themselves.
And this system you can’t find in IIT Patna,
Many of my friends who are in CSE here in IIT Hyderabad, agrees with this and are comfortable with this system. IIT Patna can be good in infrastructure, but in means of academics, IIT Hyderabad will be good choice.
