Pros
1. You get BITS tag
2. No need to sacrifice job for completing PG
3. Easy course and if studied sincerely can be completed within 2 yrs.
4. Syllabus for on and off campus students is same
5.Rather than having enrollment for distance learning to some third rate unknown college in Karnatka BITS is well known.
Cons
1. Despite being BITS PG holder you can’t participate in recruitment drive of BITS
2. Validity of this degree is in question as no company by far I had gone for accepted my PG. Due to this you can’t seek immediate hike, better job, promotion as of now.
3. This is not at all full time course as said by them and nor do we even get a taste of full time course by efforts and diligence
4. No strict criteria for admission to WILP due to this any ordinary employee with little work experience can also enroll and pass exams
5. Students are not ardent or brilliant to complete this course within 2 yrs so no special feeling despite completing PG.
5. No new subjects. Most of the subjects are from graduations(They slowly are introducing new subjects but the introductions is too slow)
